99 5.7 Vortec motor

I am going to be in the market for a new replacement engine for my 99 tahoe. I was looking at buying one with a warranty vs rebuilding the one in it. Can you check and see what you could do here?

Jist a couple quick questions......What type of warranty does it carry, Is it the original HP version or is it different? Thanks

Its the stock engine, original HP rating. I have a HT383E engine that is designed to drop directly in a Vortec equipped truck. Its a few grand more lol.
The stocker has a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty
